Terms of Use

Welcome to the Terms of Use (these "Terms") for NullLink, a zero-knowledge identity vault operated by Myrax Core GmbH ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at nulllink.ch and its subdomains (the "Service"). By accessing and/or using the Service, you are agreeing to these Terms. If you do not understand or agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Who May Use the Service

You must be 16 years of age or older to use NullLink. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. The NullLink Identity Vault

Zero-Knowledge Architecture

NullLink is a zero-knowledge identity vault. All encryption, decryption, and key derivation happens exclusively in your browser. Your passphrase never leaves your device. We store only encrypted blobs — we cannot read, access, or recover your data under any circumstances.

Your Responsibilities

• Passphrase security — You are solely responsible for safeguarding your passphrase. If you lose it, your identity and all stored credentials are irrecoverable.
• Backup — We strongly recommend exporting an encrypted backup file and storing your passphrase in a password manager.
• Account activity — You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your NullLink ID (NL-ID).

3. NullLink ID (NL-ID)

Your NL-ID is a unique, cryptographically derived identifier. It is generated locally in your browser from your passphrase. NullLink does not assign, manage, or have the ability to reset NL-IDs.

Login Methods

NullLink supports multiple authentication methods:

• NL-ID + Passphrase — the standard method
• @alias + Passphrase — a human-readable alternative
• Passkeys (WebAuthn) — biometric authentication (fingerprint, Face ID), followed by passphrase entry for decryption
• QR Code Login — scan a QR on desktop with your phone to approve

4. Credential Sharing

When a third-party application or PeerDesk agent requests your credentials:

1. You see exactly what is being requested and by whom.
2. You explicitly approve or deny the request. If denied, nothing is shared.
3. If approved, your browser decrypts the selected credentials and re-encrypts them for the recipient using end-to-end encryption.
4. NullLink relays the encrypted envelope — it cannot read the contents.
5. An audit log entry is saved to your vault (encrypted, only you can read it).

NullLink is not responsible for how third-party applications handle data you choose to share with them.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its systems
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or connected networks
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious content

6. Intellectual Property

The NullLink name, logo, and Service are owned by Myrax Core GmbH. The cryptographic protocols, user interface, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written consent.

7. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. Your encrypted data will always remain exportable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Myrax Core GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of access to your identity vault due to a lost passphrase.

10. Data Deletion

You may delete your vault and all associated data at any time from within the NullLink interface. Since we cannot read your data, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
